J.C. Staff has announced that it will produce the TV anime adaptation of the Kizuguchi to Houtai (Wound & Bandage/傷口と包帯 ) manga by Nanai Umihoshi. Two visuals have been revealed for the anime, and it’s confirmed that the show will premiere in January 2027 on ABC and TV Asahi’s Animazing!!! programming block.
Ishida Miyuki is directing the anime at J.C. Staff.
Nanai started the manga in August 2024 in Kodansha’s Comic Days app, and Kodansha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in November 2024. The manga’s fifth volume will be released on July 16th, 2026.
