We meet Zane and his boredom with life; we also meet his aunt and cousin [whom he calls a niece]. After taking advice from his aunt, he joins the spirit hunter academy and trains with the five colors. During this training, he meets Drew Valintine, Apollo Von Spiderlily. After evaluation, Zane was relieved from training early and presumably failed. After Zane went home, he took himself on a walk only to run into B#nny, a spirit in service of the Venta Knight. He forces Zane into a challenge with the knight before presumably killing him.
