The anime’s official website has also revealed that the anime will star Toki Shunichi as Cero, Terashima Takuma as Shiu, Nagatsuka Takuma as Mikke, and Azakami Youhei as Hugh.
Tsugumi (Kyuuketsu Bar e Youkoso) started the dark comedy manga in December 2022 on Hakusensha’s Young Animal website, and Hakusensha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in April 2023 and the fifth in December 2024. The manga’s sixth volume is scheduled for release on June 27th, 2025.
Amazon describes the manga as a black comedy set in a world where murder and torture are legal. Cero, a part-timer working at a torture company, enjoys torturing people every day with his senior, Shiu. New part-timers Mike and Hugh join them—? The gap between the relaxed, homely workplace and the brutal torture has many readers addicted!
