Shueisha has announced that the Kagurabachi (カグラバチ) manga by Hokazono Takeru will be adapated into a TV anime and that it will premiere in April 2027. A teaser video and visual have also been revealed.

Takeuchi Tetsuya is directing the anime at Cypit studios, and it will star Kimura Taihi as Chihiro Rokuhira.
Hokazono started the manga in September 2023 in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, and Shueisha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in February 2024. The manga’s 11th volume is scheduled for release on May 1st, 2026.


The manga was nominated in December 2024 for the 70th Shogakukan Manga Awards, and in April 2025 for the 49th annual Kodansha Manga Awards.
Shueisha’s MANGA Plus service releases the manga chapters digitally in English under the name Kagurabachi. Viz Media also releases the manga in English, under the same name, and it will release the manga’s seventh volume digitally and in print on May 5th, 2026 and the eighth volume on August 4th, 2026.
