The official website for the Hitozukiai ga Nigate na Miboujin no Yuki Onna-san to Noroi no Yubiwa (人付き合いが苦手な未亡人の雪女さんと呪いの指輪/The Lonely Snow Widow and the Cursed Ring) TV anime has released a new promotional video and NSFW visuals and announced that the series will start streaming early on the AnimeFesta streaming service on September 11th, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. The anime will also be streamed on the same day on the OceanVeil platform.

The anime will premiere on Japanese TV on October 4th, 2026, on the BS11 channel and on October 6th, 2026, on the Tokyo MX channel. The anime’s premium version, which includes mature content, will only be available to stream on AnimeFesta.
Koga Kazuomi is directing the anime at Suiseisha, and the anime will star:
- Shidou Harumichi as Satoru Takahashi
- Kitami Rikka as Mifuyu Yukino
- Ayumi Sara as Kaede Kiryuin
The anime’s official website describes the anime as a story set in a modern world where humans, yokai, and various other races coexist. Satoru, who is the building manager, one day angers Mifuyu, a snow woman who is a resident and whom he secretly harbours feelings for. Desperate to make amends, he uses a mysterious ring that is said to “make communication with yokai easier,” but for some reason, Mifuyu becomes incredibly aggressive and starts pursuing him.
The anime is based on the adult doujin manga of the same name by Puuzaki Puuna. So far, two all-colour volumes have been released, the first in October 2021 and the second in February 2023.
