Publisher Idea Factory International confirmed this week that it has canceled the planned release of several of its games for Nintendo Switch in North America and Europe, as they do not comply with the Nintendo game guidelines.
The canceled games have been confirmed as the Hyperdimension Neptunia Re; Birth series, which include the Hyperdimension Neptunia Re; Birth 1, Hyperdimension Neptunia Re; Birth 2 Sisters Generation, Hyperdimension Neptunia Re; Birth 3 V Generation, also known as Hyperdimension Neptunia Re; Birth 3 V Century in Japan. The other game that has been canceled for Nintendo Switch in the West is the Death end reQuest: Code Z.
Developer Compile Heart has confirmed that it will still release the Hyperdimension Neptunia Re; Birth game series for PlayStation 4 digitally. The first Hyperdimension Neptunia Re; Birth game is already available, while the other two games have no release date yet. It’s been confirmed that the Death end reQuest: Code Z game will still be released physically and digitally for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in 2025.
