Author Ariyama Ryou confirmed on their Twitter account that the Romelia Senki: Maou o Taoshita Ato mo Jinrui Yabasou Dakara Guntai Soshiki Shita (A History of the Romelia) light novel series will end with the release of its sixth novel.

Ariyama started the story on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in 2019, and Shogakukan published the first novel with illustrations by Kodama in June 2020. Kamito Ryou illustrated subsequent novels, and Shogakukan released the fifth novel in September 2024. In September 2024, it was also announced that the novel series had been approved for an anime adaptation.

The novels were also adapted into a manga by Kamito in April 2021 on Mag Garden’s Manga Doa, which moved to Mag Garden’s Mag Comi Platform in January 2021. Mag Garden published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in October 2021, and the fourth volume was released in September 2024.
The story follows Countess Romelia, who is rejected by her fiancé, Prince Henri, immediately after the defeat of the Demon King. Despite the rejection, Romelia returns to her homeland and uses her secret innate power to defeat the remaining members of the Demon Army and restore her homeland.
