Square Enix has announced that the Sekai Saikyou no Majo, Hajimemashita: Watashi dake “Kouryaku Site” o Mireru Sekai de Jiyuu ni Ikimasu (The World’s Strongest Witch: I’m Starting My Free Life in a World Where Only I Can See the Online Strategy Guide/世界最強の魔女、始めました ~私だけ『攻略サイト』を見れる世界で自由に生きます~) light novel series by Sakaki Mochimaru will get a TV anime adapation which will premiere in October 2026.

Furuta Jouji is directing the anime at studios Bridge and Aisle, and the anime will star Tachibana Azusa as Rona Hermit.
Author Sakaki started the original story in May 2022 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website, and Square Enix published the first novel with illustrations by riritto in December 2022. The series’s fifth novel was released in May 2025.


Yen Press releases the novel series in English under the name The World’s Strongest Witch. It releases the second novel on April 14th, 2026, and it describes the series below:
“When Lorna manifests a completely useless ability, she’s labeled an embarrassment to her family and kicked out of the house. With no money or food, she’s about to hit rock bottom. But then, she figures out how to use her supposedly worthless SSS-Rank skill, “Internet.” This cheat-level talent gives her the know-how to gather an unlimited amount of valuable items and easily acquire rare equipment. Armed with godlike knowledge, Lorna’s free to do anything she wants! If only she could figure out what “lmfao” means…”
The novel series was adapated into a manga by Toga Tamaki in May 2023 on Kodansha’s Comic Days website, and Kodansha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in September 2023. The manga’s 12th volume is scheduled for release on May 8th, 2026.
