Kodansha’s Comic Days platform released the final chapter of the Vamp-sensei wa Kyuuketsuki (Mr. Vamp is a Vampire/万府先生は吸血鬼 ) manga by Odoroo Dorothy on May 28th, 2026.
Manga artist Odoroo started the supernatural comedy manga in March 2023 on Kodansha’s Comic Days platform and Kodansha’s Morning Two magazine. Kodansha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in February 2025 and the second in November 2025.
Kodansha USA Publishing will release the manga’s first volume in English, under the name Mr. Vamp is a Vampire, in the Autumn of 2026. It describes the manga story below:
“A hilarious farce with rivalries, misunderstandings, and one beautiful monster. An elegant vampire thinks he’s hiding in plain sight as a high school teacher—but his secret identity isn’t fooling anyone, and his students love being taught by a suave bloodsucker.
“Mr. Vamp,” an immortal vampire, has had a number of careers over his long life. To mix things up, he’s now working as a history teacher in a high school in Japan. He thinks he’s got everyone fooled into believing he’s just an ordinary mortal, but due to a lack of effort on his part when it comes to truly blending in, the students and teachers all realize his true nature (but still humor him by going along with the fiction). Hijinks ensue!”
