Akita Publishing’s Bessatsu Young Champion magazine has confirmed that the Jaa, Kimi no Kawari ni Korosou ka? (Well, shall I murder instead of you?/ じゃあ、君の代わりに殺そうか？) manga by Kurando Yukiaki and Sakakibara Sousou will get a three-chapter epilogue in the magazine’s February, March and April 2026 issues. The manga’s final chapter was released in the magazine’s December 2025 issue, available for sale from November 4th, 2025.
Kurando and Sakakibara started the mystery manga in November 2018 in Akita Publishing’s Bessatsu Young Champion magazine, and Akita Shoten published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in August 2019. The manga’s 11th volume was released in August 2025.
The manga centres on Yuma Fujikura, who is a constantly bullied first-year student in high school. When a classmate named Ryo Ameri, nicknamed “Amelie,” helps him out one day, Yuma tells him not to get any more involved, or else the bullies will target Amelie too. In response to this, Amelie only tells Yuma that he would commit murder for him if Yuma wanted.
The manga received a prequel manga titled Jaa, Kimi no Kawari ni Korosou ka? -Prequel- (じゃあ、君の代わりに殺そうか？～プリクエル【前日譚】～) by Kurando and Sakakibara. The prequel manga began in August 2021 on Akita Publishing’s Dokodemo Young Champion magazine, and Akita Shoten published the manga’s first volume in February 2022 and the seventh volume in September 2025.
