Shueisha will release a new novel adaptation of Tozuka Yoshifumi’s Undead Unluck manga on April 4th, 2025. The novel by Hirabayashi Sawako is titled Hiteishatachi no Aoharu na Koukou Seikatsu (The Youthful High School Life of the Negators).

Tozuka started the manga as a one-shot in January 2019 in Shueisha’s Weekly Shounen Jump magazine, and in January 2020, it began serialization.  Shueisha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in April 2020 and the 25th volume on February 4th, 2025. The manga’s final chapter was published on January 27th, 2025, in Shueisha’s Weekly Shounen Jump magazine.

The Undead Unluck manga was also adapted into a TV anime in October 2023 with 24 episodes. The anime will receive a one-hour special episode later in 2025.

The manga is released digitally in English by Shueisha’s MANGA Plus service and by Viz Media, which also releases the manga in print. Volume 19 will be released in English on June 5th, 2025. Viz Media describes the story below:
