Manga creator Shiina Umi announced on Twitter that their Aono-kun ni Sawaritai kara Shinitai (I Want to Hold Aono-kun So Badly I Could Die/青野くんに触りたいから死にたい) manga will end with chapter 73 in the November 2025 issue of Kodansha’s Afternoon magazine. The manga will receive an epilogue after the final chapter, although no release date is mentioned. The magazine’s November issue will be available for sale from September 25, 2025.

Shiina started the manga in December 2016 in Kodansha’s Afternoon magazine, and Kodansha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in June 2017. The manga’s 13th volume was released on August 22nd, 2025.
Kodansha USA publishes the manga in English under the name I Want to Hold Aono-kun So Badly I Could Die, and it released the 12th volume in December 2024. Kodansha USA describes the manga’s first volume below:
