Kadokawa has confirmed that the Isshiki-san wa Koi o Shiritai (Isshiki-san Wants To Know Love/ 一式さんは恋を知りたい。) manga by Araragi Ayune has been green-lit for a TV anime. Manga author Araragi has released an illustration in celebration of the news.
Araragi started the romance manga in June 2020 in Kadokawa’s Monthly Shonen Ace magazine, and Kadokawa published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in December 2020. The manga’s ninth volume will be released on October 23rd, 2025.
The manga story follows Inspector Rinna Isshiki, an elite, straight-laced officer who has no experience in romantic love. She then meets Meishi Rokutanda, a kind but scatterbrained detective, who is also new to love, and the two agree to become a couple, of sorts, as they find out about romance.
