Animation ID announced last week that Kuromeika’s Mirai no Kuromakukei Akuyaku Reijou Moriarty no Isekai Kanzen Hanzai Hakusho (Moriarty’s Perfect Crime) novel will get a TV anime on July 19th, 2024, on CBC TV.

Furukawa Mikiko is directing the anime at Imageworks Studio with production cooperation from nanogram and Studio KAIBA. The anime will star Suzuki Ryouta as James Moriarty, Noguchi Yuri as Sherry Moriarty, Sakamoto Kurumi as Porgrette Whey Cochon, and Moriya Saiko as Miss Fairlady.
Kuromeika started the story in 2019 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website, and they last updated the story in June 2024. The story was also adapted into a webtoon in February 2023.
James Moriarty, the most fearsome criminal, met his demise after a confrontation with a famous detective at a certain waterfall. He found himself possessed by a beautiful young lady from another world, and what he saw there was the insidious abuse by other noble daughters. He has no memory, but his brain is still the same. He wields the power of his lucid mind and the perfect crime equation to the fullest for the sake of only one girl in a world without a great detective. The bullied young lady dies and is reborn as Moriarty, a villainess without blood or tears.
