Kadokawa’s Monthly Young Ace magazine published the final chapter of Sakura Roku’s Busu ni Hanataba o. -Bloom- (April Showers Bring May Flowers: Bloom/ ブスに花束を。～Bloom～) manga, the special edition of the Busu ni Hanataba o (April Showers Bring May Flowers) manga. The final chapter was released in the magazine’s October 2025 issue, available for sale from September 4th, 2025.
Manga author Sakura serialised the original manga from April 2016 to September 2022 in Kadokawa’s Monthly Young Ace magazine, and Kadokawa published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in November 2016. The manga’s 12th and final volume was released in November 2022.
The special edition manga by Sakura started in March 2025 and ended in July 2025 in Kadokawa’s Monthly Young Ace magazine. Extra chapters were released from August 2025 onwards, and the manga was featured on the cover of the September 2025 issue of Kadokawa’s Monthly Young Ace magazine.
The manga series then released its 13th volume, which included some of the new chapters, on August 4th, 2025.
Yen Press releases the original manga in English under the name April Showers Bring May Flowers, and it will release the fourth volume on February 24th, 2026. It describes the story below:
“Hana Tabata has accepted her role as the unattractive side character in other people’s stories. Though her name is Japanese for flower, she sure doesn’t feel like one. That doesn’t mean she can’t enjoy some heart-pounding romance manga—and maybe occasionally, every so often, imagine herself as the heroine. The Busu ni Hanataba o manga was adapted into a TV anime, which premiered in July 2025.
