Saito Hisashi (Bamboo Blade, Haganai, Heaven’s Lost Property) will direct the anime at Studio Quad. The anime will star Yano Hinaki as Shizuri Ideura and Ishege Shouya as Tsukasa Atsumi, with Chiba Shigery narrating the series.
The manga by Yakitomato and Kotatsu began serialization in February 2020 on No.9 Comic, which released the manga’s 10th digital tankoubon volume in March 2023. Kadokawa is publishing the manga in print and released the manga’s third volume in March 2023.
The manga centers on Tsukasa, an ordinary salaryman attacked by demons one night and saved by a genius kunoichi named Shizuri. In her off time, though, Shizuri is a lazy otaku NEET. Tsukasa and Shizuri end up living together, with Tsukasa using his homemaking skills to pamper Shizuri as she continues to serve as his bodyguard.
