A new spinoff manga based on the light novel series Tensei Shitara Dainana Ouji Datta no de, Kimamani Majutsu o Kiwamemasu (I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability) by Kenkyo na Circle will be released on February 17th, 2024.
The new manga, Gendai Teni no Daini Ouji (The Second Prince Reincarnates to the Modern World) by Amamiya Keiri, will be available on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket manga app. The manga will center on Albert and Lloyd’s reincarnation into modern-day Japan
Kenkyon na Circle started the novel series in October 2019 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website. Kodansha began publishing the series in July 2020 with illustrations by Meru, and it released the seventh novel in Japan in November 2023.
The light novel series inspired a manga with the same name by Kokuzawa Yousuke (Choujin Gakuen), which was published on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket manga app in June 2020. Kodansha published the manga’s 14th tankoubon volume on February 9th, 2024.
The novels also inspired an upcoming TV anime adaptation premiering in April 2024. Crunchyroll has announced it will stream the anime as it airs in Japan.
