The final chapter of the manga VTuber wa Mama Naranai! by Azuma Tama will be released in Ultra Jump magazine’s May 2024 issue, which will be on sale on April 19th, 2024.
Azuma (Koi shita no de, Haishin shite mita) started the manga in December 2021 in Shueisha’s Ultra Jump magazine, and Shueisha released the manga’s first tankoubon volume in July 2022. The manga’s fourth volume will be published on May 17th, 2024.
The manga’s story centers on Kiyoshi Koyama, a gloomy high school student who secretly likes the famous VTuber Hikari Kirari. His cheery classmate, Nene Otokawa, also a fan of Hikari Kirari, finds him drawing an illustration of the VTuber, and they instantly hit it off. Suddenly, Nene asks Kiyoshi to draw and turn her into a VTuber. Together, they develop their very own virtual heroine.
