Hiyama Daisuke’s Peter Grill to Kenja no Jikan (Peter Grill and the Philosopher’s Time) manga will end with the release of the 15th tankoubon volume later this year. The news was revealed with the release of the 14th volume on April 11th, 2024.
Hiyama (Himawari) started the manga in July 2017 in Futabasha’s Manga Action magazine, and the manga’s first volume was released in January 2018.
The manga inspired a TV anime adaptation with the same name in July 2020 and a sequel titled Peter Grill to Kenja no Jikan Super Extra (Peter Grill and the Philosopher’s Time – Super Extra) in October 2022. All 12 episodes of the original anime and its sequel can be streamed on Crunchyroll.
Peter Grill is the world’s strongest fighter. Still, his ascent to the top came with an unexpected consequence: Women worldwide, human and monster alike, want to bear his genetically superior children! Since he’s currently engaged to the love of his life, Peter isn’t too keen on his sudden popularity, and it will take every ounce of self-control for Peter to keep his hands to himself and his relationship with his paramour in one piece in the outrageously irreverent Peter Grill and the Philosopher’s Time.
