Akita Publishing’s Mystery Bonita magazine confirmed that Hamada Shoko’s Honou no Mirage Reboot manga will end in the magazine’s November 2024 issue, which will be available for sale on October 4th, 2024. The manga is based on Kuwabara Mizuna’s Honou no Mirage light novel series.
Kuwabara’s original novel series, illustrated by Hamada, was published from 1990 to 2004. The novels were adapted into a manga by Hamada in 1994, a TV anime in 2002, and an OVA in 2004.
Hamada started the current Honou no Mirage Reboot manga in July 2020 in Akita Publishing’s Mystery Bonita magazine, and Akita Shoten published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in December 2020 and the ninth volume in June 2024.
