Shodensha’s Feel Young magazine confirmed this week that Nemu Youko’s Kocchi Muite yo Mukai-kun (Turn to Me Mukai-kun) manga will end in the magazine’s December 2024 issue, which will be available for sale on November 8th, 2024.
Nemu (Futsutsu na Yome Desu ga!, Shinkyaku Banrai!, Gozen 3-ji no Muhouchitai) started the manga in June 2020 in Shodensha’s Feel Young magazine, and Shodensha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in January 2021. The manga’s latest volume, number seven, was released in July 2024.
The story follows Mukai-kun, a 35-year-old office employee who has been single for ten years and still has a lingering attachment to his last ex-girlfriend, Miwako. At work, Mukai-kun starts to notice Nakatani-san, a temporary employee, and he is s now caught between an old flame he cannot let go of and a new encounter. Mukai-kun starts his “spot the difference” love game.
