The official website for the TV anime S Rank Monster no “Behemoth” dakedo, Neko to Machigawarete Elf Musume no Pet Toshite Kurashitemasu (I’m a Behemoth, an S-Ranked Monster, but Mistaken for a Cat, I Live as an Elf Girl’s Pet) released its second full promotional video and a new visual.

The video confirmed that the anime’s regular version will have its net premiere on December 28th, 2024, on the ABEMA streaming service in Japan, and it will premiere on Japanese TV on January 4th, 2025, on the Tokyo MX and Sun TV channels. The anime’s refreshing version will also be available on the ABEMA streaming service on December 28th, 2024, for its Abema Premium members. The refreshing version will only premiere on TV on January 7th, 2025, on the AT-X channel.
Hirakawa Tetsuo (Bucchigire!, Zero Kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho) is directing the anime at Zero-G and Saber Works studios. The anime stars:

- Ueda Hitomi as Stella
- Oubuchi Nonoka as Lily

The anime is an adaptation of Ginyoku Nozomi’s light novel series. Ginyoku (Tensei Madou-ou wa, Teihenshoku no Kuromajutsushi ga, Jitsuwa Saikyou Shokuda to Shitteiru) started the story on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in 2017 and ended it in 2021. Micro Magazine published the first novel in print with illustrations by Yanomitsuki (“Shop” Skill Saeareba, Dungeon-ka Shita Sekai Demo Rakushouda: Hakugai Sareta Shounen no Saikyou Zamaa Life) in March 2018 and the second in October 2018.
After dying in a fight against the forces of evil, a knight finds himself reincarnated as one of the world’s most powerful monsters: a behemoth! The problem is that he has to grow up before he can strut his stuff, and a baby behemoth looks like… a housecat?! And when an elf adventurer decides to take him in, she may need his help as much as he needs hers!
