Manga artist Hino Anju has confirmed on their Twitter account that their Missing manga will end with its next chapter, which will be released on May 27th, 2025. The manga is a new adaptation of Coda Gakuto’s Missing novel series.

Coda published the original 13 novels, with illustrations by Midorikawa Shin, between 2001 and 2005. Kadokawa released a new edition of the novel series with cover art by Hanamura Mai between 2020 and 2022.

Hino started the manga adaptation in May 2023 in Kadokawa’s Dengeki Maoh magazine, and Kadokawa published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in October 2023. The manga’s third volume was released in October 2024.

Mutsuki Rei also adapted the novels into a manga in 2005. The manga titled Missing: Kamikakushi no Monogatari was serialised in Kadokawa’s Dengeki HP magazine, and Kadokawa published three manga volumes.
