The December 2025 issue of Kodansha’s Kiss magazine has confirmed that Kawachi Haruka’s Namidaame to Serenade (The Rain of Teardrops, and Serenade/ 涙雨とセレナーデ ) manga will end in the magazine’s next issue, available for sale from November 25th, 2025.
Manga author Kawachi (Musashino Rondo, Natsuyuki Rendezvous) started the romance manga in November 2014 in Kodansha’s Kiss magazine, and Kodansha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in October 2015. The manga’s 14th volume was released in April 2025.
The manga story follows a lively high school girl named Hina, who is suddenly enveloped in a strange light during music class and finds herself transported back in time to the year 1907. There, she meets the sorrowful heir of a wealthy family, Hongo, and a girl named Hinako who looks just like her.
