Staff for the Ma no Mono-tachi wa Kuwadateru (The Demons Are Planning Something Good /魔のものたちは企てる ) anime have revealed the anime’s new visual, main cast members and confirmed that the anime will debut on TV in 2027.
Asaoka Takuya is directing the anime at TNK, and the anime will star:
- Suwabe Junichi as Lord Mercy-Snare
- Kuramocho Wakana as Letze
- Shiraishi Haruka as Melisha
The anime is based on the manga by Katou Takuji and Gashigashi. Katou started the story on their Twitter account in 2022 and began the serialisation of the manga with illustrations by Gashigashi in March 2023 in Kadokawa’s DraDra Sharp web manga service. Kadokawa published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in December 2023, and the fourth volume will be released on July 9th, 2026.
Yen Press has licensed the manga, and it will release the third volume in English under the name The Demons Are Planning Something Good on December 15th, 2026. Yen Press describes the manga’s story below:
