Kadokawa has confirmed that Nara Ippei’s 29-Sai Dokushin Chuuken Boukensha no Nichijou manga has been green-lit for a TV anime adaptation, and it has released a teaser trailer for the anime. A teaser visual has also been revealed, along with an illustration by Nara.

Fukushima Riki is directing the anime at studio HORNETS, and the anime will star Furukawa Makoto as Shinonome Hajime and Suzushiro Sayumi as Rirui.

Nara started the fantasy manga in January 2016 in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shounen Magazine, and Kodansha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in June 2016. The manga’s 19th volume will be released on May 9th, 2025. The manga can also be read on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket service.

Shinonome Hajime is an adventurer of the Silver Range, and he’s dedicated to fulfilling missions for the guild. One day, when completing a quest for monster meat, he finds a strange girl named Rirui in a dungeon who’s far more trouble than she’s worth. Saving the girl from certain death, her story reminds him of his similar past, and he takes her under his care. And so the two of them begin living together, but Rirui is not just a normal girl…!?
