The seventh tankoubon volume for the Koboreru Yoru ni (Sheltering Eaves/零れるよるに) manga by Aruga Rie has revealed that the manga will end with the release of the eighth volume. The manga’s seventh volume was released on July 13th, 2026.
Aruga started the manga in September 2022 in Kodansha’s Kiss magazine, and Kodansha published the manga’s first volume in March 2023.
Kodansha USA Publishing releases the manga in English under the name Sheltering Eaves, and it released the fourth volume in August 2025. Kodansha USA describes the manga story below:
“High schooler Yoru was sent to a group home at the age of ten after her mother abused her. Tenjaku, a boy the same age, took her under his wing. Now, as teenagers, Yoru and Tenjaku only have a year left before they are legally required to leave the home, and they must pack a lot of growing up into a short period of time. The foremost decision in Yoru’s mind: what to do about the feelings for Tenjaku that she’s sheltered in her heart during their years together…”
