GungHo Online Entertainment and Nihon Falcom have started streaming the release date trailer for the Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter RPG game. The trailer confirms that the game launches worldwide on September 17th, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.

The Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter game will be available both physically and digitally in the West for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. In Japan, the physical edition will only be available for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2.

The Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter game is the second instalment of the series. The first instalment was the Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter game, which was launched worldwide on September 19th, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
The Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter game was a remake of the original The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky game, which debuted in Japan in 2004 for PC.
