Staff for the Kizu Darake Seijo Yori Houfuku wo Komete (傷だらけ聖女より報復をこめて / With Vengeance, Sincerely, Your Broken Saintess) light anime have confirmed that the show will premiere on July 9th, 2025.
The anime will debut on TV Kanagawa (TVK) on July 9th at 24:30 (effectively July 10th at 12:30 a.m.), and it will be available to stream in Japan on the d Anime Store, later the same day (effectively from July 10th at 01:30 a.m.). The show will also air on CBC TV starting from July 13th,2025, and various other platforms, including ABEMA, Anime Festa, Amazon Prime Video, and U-NEXT, will stream the show in Japan from this date onwards.
Chisaki is directing the anime at IMAGICA Infos/ Imageworks Studio, and the anime will star:

The anime is based on the ongoing Kizu Darake Seijo Yori Houfuku wo Komete webtoon manga by Aminohada and SORAJIMA. The series started in August 2022 on the Comico platform in Japan. Ichijinsha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in March 2024 and the second volume in September 2024. The third volume will be released on July 18th, 2025.
The story follows Rua, a candidate for sainthood with healing powers, who works hard to serve the people who gather at the temple. However, Rua’s ability has a flaw in that she transfers symptoms to herself to heal, which means she is also in pain and suffering, so she is called a defective saint by everyone except her only ally and best friend, Arianna.
One day, Garrett, the commander of the knights whom Rua has feelings for, is brought to the temple in a state of near death. With a desperate desire, Rua completely heals his wounds, but with the limits of her ability, she lies between life and death… ━━Then, when she wakes up, all the credit goes to Arianna, and Garrett and Arianna become engaged.
Rua is devastated when she sees Arianna’s true nature, but then the second prince, Sven, approaches her and asks her, “Why don’t you take revenge on those who have humiliated you?” Using another hidden ability – the ability to be sadistic – she teams up with Sven and begins a new life as a villain rather than a saint.
