Staff for the Mato Seihei no Slave (Chained Soldier/ 魔都精兵のスレイブ) TV anime have confirmed that the anime will receive a third season. An announcement video and teaser visual have been revealed.

The anime’s first season was directed by Kuji Gorou at Seven Arcs Studio, and it premiered in January 2024. The second season was directed by Tamura Masafumi at Hayabusa Film and Passione studios, and it premiered in January 2026.
The Mato Seihei no Slave anime is based on the manga of the same name, created by Takahiro (Gokusotsu Kraken, Akame ga KILL!, Hinowa ga CRUSH!) with illustrations by Takemura Youhei. The manga was first serialised in January 2019 in the Shounen Jump+, and Shueisha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in March 2019. The manga’s 21st volume was released in June 2026.
Yen Press releases the manga volumes in English under the name Chained Soldier, and it will release the manga’s 15th volume on October 27th, 2026. Yen Press describes the manga story below:
