9-nine- Ruler's Crown Anime Key Visual Airing Announcement

The anime is based on Palette’s 9-nine-game, which consists of four episodes/parts. Publisher and developer Palette initially released all four episodes separately for PC between 2017 and 2020. Then, in April 2021, the company released all episodes as a bundle for PC. Palette also released the game for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in June 2022.

All of the game’s episodes share the same setting, but each focuses on a different heroine. Publisher Sekai Project released the games in English for PC via Steam, and it describes the games below:

“9-nine- is a tale of the town of Shiromitsugawa, host to mysterious Artefacts and the superpowers they bestow on their Users. A tale of growing trust and budding romance between the protagonist and the heroine, and also a murder mystery where they hunt down the culprit behind a series of supernatural murders.”

It’s been announced that a new 9-nine spin-off game will be released for PC in the Winter of 2025.
