The official Twitter account for Kadokawa’s MF Books label has announced that the fourth and final novel of the Mushoku Tensei – Dasoku-hen (Mushoku Tensei: Redundant Reincarnation/ 無職転生 ～蛇足編～ ) light novel series by Rifujin na Magonote and Shirotaka will be released on November 25th, 2026.

The story started in May 2015 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website, and Kadokawa published the first novel in June 2023 and the third novel in June 2025.
Seven Seas Entertainment releases the novel series in English under the name Mushoku Tensei: Redundant Reincarnation, and it released the third novel digitally in December 2025. Seven Seas describes the novel series below:

The novel series is an epilogue/sequel to the original story title Mushoku Tensei – Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation/ 無職転生 ～異世界行ったら本気だす～) by Rifujin na Magonote and Shirotaka. The original story began in 2012 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website, and Kadokawa published the first novel in print in January 2014. The 26th novel in the series was released in November 2022.
Seven Seas Entertainment has released all 26 novels of the original series in English under the name Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation. Seven Seas describes the novel series below:

The series was adapted into an anime in January 2021, with a second season in July 2023 and a third season, which premiered on July 5th, 2026. The anime is available to stream on Crunchyroll under the name Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation.
