Kadokawa’s Comic Flapper magazine announced in its October 2026 issue that the Lycoris Recoil (リコリス・リコイル) manga by Bizen Yasunori and Spider Lily will end in two chapters.
The manga is an adaptation of the Lycoris Recoil anime, which premiered in July 2022. Bizen and Spider Lily started the manga in September 2022 in Kadokawa’s Comic Flapper magazine, and Kadokawa published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in December 2022. The manga’s ninth volume was released on August 21st, 2026.
Yen Press releases the manga in English, and it published the manga’s fifth volume in June 2026. Yen Press described the manga’s story below:
“Japan—a nation where vicious crime and terror have been all but eliminated. And who keeps the peace? Cute schoolgirls, of course! Those uniformed youths you see on street corners and in stylish cafes may just be agents of Lycoris, with pistols in their purses and missions on their mind…”

This peaceful everyday life is all thanks to these young girls.
