Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine announced that the “series final chapter” for the Kaihen no Mahoutsukai (Wizard of Changing Borders/界変の魔法使い) manga by Tanabe Yellow will be released on October 14th, 2026, in the magazine’s 46th issue of 2026. The announcement did not specify if this will be the final chapter of the manga or the final chapter of an arc.
Tanabe started the manga in September 2024, and Shogakukan published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in February 2025 and the fourth volume in June 2026. The manga went on hiatus in February 2026 and returned in July 2026.
Viz Media releases the manga chapters in English under the name Kai-hen Wizards, and it describes the manga story below:
“A young boy must live in exile lest his deadly magical powers destroy the world.”
