Nintendo announced this week during its live stream that Square Enix’s Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade game will be sold for its Nintendo Switch 2 console.

Square Enix released the original Final Fantasy VII game for PlayStation in 1997 and announced the remake in 2015. The Final Fantasy VII Remake game was released for PlayStation 4 in April 2020, and the game’s enhanced Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade version with additional content was released in June 2021 on PlayStation 5. The Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade was also released for PC via Epic Games Store in December 2021 and for PC via Steam in June 2022.
