It was announced via an official Twitter account that the Koisuru (Otome) no Tsukurikata (How to Make (a otome) in Love/恋する(おとめ)の作り方) manga by Banjo Azusa has been green-lit for a TV anime adaptation. The post also revealed an illustration by Banjo in celebration of the anime news.

Banjo started the manga in February 2020 on Ichijinsha’s Comic Pool manga website, and Ichijinsha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in September 2020. The manga’s 12th volume will be released on June 25th, 2026.

Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the manga volumes in English under the name I Think I Turned My Childhood Friend Into a Girl, and it will release the manga’s 11th volume on November 17th, 2026. Seven Seas describes the manga story below:
