Square Enix’s Manga UP! platform released the final chapter of Yamazaki Chihiro’s Sono Rettou Kishi, Level 999 (That Inferior Knight, Level 999) manga on February 10th, 2025. The manga was an adaptation of the light novel series by Shiraishi Arata.

Shiraishi started the original story on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in September 2018, and SB Creative published the first novel in March 2019 and the second novel in July 2019. Both novels include illustrations by Miya Kazutomo
Yamazaki started the manga adaptation in July 2019 on Square Enix’s Manga UP! platform, and Square Enix published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in September 2019 and the 10th volume in August 2024. The manga’s 11th volume will be released on March 7th, 2025.
