Shogakukan’s Monthly CoroCoro Comic magazine confirmed this week that Imada Yuuki will launch a new Sonic the Hedgehog manga. The new manga, titled Sonic to Yuuki no Tsurugi (Sonic and the Blade of Courage), will debut in the magazine’s July 2025 issue, which will be available for sale from June 13th, 2025.
Manga author Imada (Mini4King) recently ended the Shikkoku no Harinezumi: Shadow the Hedgehog (Shadow the Hedgehog) manga in February 2025, and Shogakukan published the manga’s only tankoubon volume on April 28th, 2025.
The Shikkoku no Harinezumi: Shadow the Hedgehog manga follows Shadow and Maria, who are living on the space colony ARK. One day, they are suddenly attacked by the Earth Defence Forces for the reason of “disposing of dangerous biological experiments.” Shadow and Maria defend each other, but Maria ends up being struck by a merciless bullet…?
