Staff for the SANDA TV anime have released the main promotional video and a new visual for the show. The anime will premiere on Japanese TV on October 3rd, 2025, on the TBS, MBS and BS-TBS channels, and it will be exclusively streamed worldwide on Amazon Prime Video starting on October 4th, 2025.

Shimoyama Tomohisa is directing the anime at Science SARU studio, and the anime will star:
- Murase Ayumu as Kazushige Sanda
- Touchi Hiroki as Santa Claus
- Shouji Umeka as Shiori Fuyumura
- Nagase Anna as Ichie Ono
- Shin Yuuki as Hitoshi Amaya
- Matsuoka Misato as Nico Kazao
- Seki Toshihiko as Hifumi Oshibu
- Hirata Hiroaki as Saburo Yagiuda
The anime is an adaptation of Itagaki Paru’s SANDA (サンダ) manga. Itagaki (Beastars, Drip Drip, Beast Complex) started the manga in July 2021 in the Weekly Shounen Champion magazine, and Akita Shoten released the manga’s first tankoubon volume in December 2021. The 16th and final volume was released in October 2024.
The manga will be released in English by Titan Manga under the title SANDA. The manga’s first volume will be released on September 9th, 2025 and the second volume on November 18th, 2025. Titan Manga describes the manga below:
