Manga Author Kizuki Ruru will adapt the Thai GL novel, Cranium (ปริศนาซากมรณะ), by author Nalan, into a manga by Frontier Works and DREAM EXPRESS (DEX) Co. The manga is scheduled to be released simultaneously in Japanese and Thai from Spring 2026 onwards.

The Cranium novel was first released in Thailand in June/July 2023, and it was released in English in November 2024. Amazon describes the novel’s story below:
“A violent plane crash throws Phinya and Busaya—former PhD classmates turned fierce rivals—into a tense reunion on the remote forensic field. Tasked with identifying the deceased, they find themselves tangled in the secrets of a mysterious skull, discovered far from where it belongs. The novel is also being adapted into a Thai live-action TV drama in January 2026 by IDOLFACTORY. A pilot trailer for the show was released in January 2025.
