The official website for the Mushoku no Eiyuu: Betsu ni Skill Nanka Iranakattan da ga (Hero Without a Class: Who Even Needs Skills?!) TV anime has revealed a teaser visual and confirmed that the anime will premiere in 2025. The anime’s website also revealed that Yabana Kaoru is directing the anime at Studio A-Cat and that Ono Kenshou will voice the protagonist, Allele.

The anime is based on the Mushoku no Eiyuu: Betsu ni Skill Nanka Iranakattan da ga light novel series by author Kuzu Shichio and the illustrator Ueda Yumehito. Kuzu started the story in November 2017 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website, and Earth Star Entertainment published the first novel with illustrations by Ueda in July 2018. The fourth novel in the series was released in June 2019.

The novel series inspired a manga adaptation by Nanae Akio in Comic Earth Star in November 2018. Earth Star Entertainment published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in June 2019 and the ninth on March 12th, 2025.

The manga is published in English by One Peace Books under the name Hero Without a Class, and it will release the third volume on May 13th, 2025. It describes the manga story below:
