Square Enix’s Monthly Gangan Joker magazine published the final chapter of Akitaka’s Sumigomori no Sumijo Maou wa Saikyou Juusha ni Koikogaremasu manga in its May 2025 issue, available for sale from April 22nd, 2025.
Akitaka (Rokujou Hitoma no Majo Life, Urami Koi, Koi, Urami Koi) started the romanga comedy manga in January 2024 in Square Enix’s Monthly Gangan Joker magazine, and Square Enix published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in August 2024 and the second volume in November 2024.
There are two worlds in this world: the human world and the magical world.
Sumi, the main character who attends the magic academy in the human world, spends her days hiding in a corner away from people because of a certain behavior that she does reflexively. She is called the “charcoal” girl. She really wants to be friends with everyone, but…Sumi has a turning point! Gita, an emissary from the demon world, beckons her to become the Demon King!
