Kadokawa has confirmed that the Mata Korosarete Shimatta no desu ne, Tantei-sama (Killed Again, Mr. Detective?/ また殺されてしまったのですね、探偵様 ) light novel series by Teniwoha and Riichu has been green-lit for a TV anime adaptation, which is set to premiere in April 2026 on the TBS channel.

Naoya Takashi is directing the anime at Lifenfilms studios, and the anime will star Yasuda Rikuya as Sakuya Outsuki and Wakayama Shion as Lilithea.
Kadokawa published Teniwoha’s first novel with illustrations by Riichu in August 2021, and it will release the series’s sixth novel on November 25th, 2025.
The novel series was adapted into a manga by Inaba in July 2022 on Kadokawa’s Dra Dra Flat manga website, and Kadokawa published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in March 2023 and the second and final volume in March 2024.
Yen Press publishes the manga adaptation in English under the title Killed Again, Mr. Detective?, and it will release the second and final volume on January 20th, 2026. Yen Press describes the manga story below:
“Sakuya Outsuki is the son of a legendary detective, striving to follow in his father’s footsteps with the help of his assistant, Lilithea. This isn’t your average high-school sleuth, though-because he comes back to life every time he’s killed!
