Publisher TO Books confirmed this week that the Odayaka Kizoku no Kyuuka no Susume (A Gentle Noble’s Vacation Recommendation) light novel series by Misaki has been green-lit for a TV anime.

Author Misaki started the story in January 2014 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website, and TO Books published the first novel in June 2018 with illustrations by Sando (Saikyou Tank no Meikyuu Kouryaku). The 19th novel in the series will be released on October 15th, 2024.
The novel series was adapted into a manga by Momochi in December 2018 and TO Books Published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in June 2019. The manga’s 11th volume will be released on October 15th, 2024. Tokyopop is releasing the manga in English, and it published the eighth volume in August 2024.
When Lizel finds himself in a city that bears odd similarities to his own but clearly isn’t, he quickly comes to terms with the unlikely truth: this is an entirely different world. Even so, laid-back Lizel isn’t the type to panic. He immediately sets out to learn more about this strange place and to help him do so, he hires Gil, a seasoned adventurer, as his tour guide and protector.
Until he’s able to find a way home, Lizel figures this is a perfect opportunity to explore a new way of life, adventuring as part of a guild. After all, he’s sure he’ll go home eventually, so he might as well enjoy the otherworldly vacation for now!
