Hakusensha’s LaLa magazine has confirmed that Akimoto Aki’s Mairimashita to Iwasetai manga will end in the magazine’s May 2025 issue, which will be available for sale on March 24th, 2025.
Akimoto (Kikaijikake no Marie) started the manga in December 2023 in Hakusensha’s LaLa magazine, and Hakusensha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in August 2024 and the second volume in December 2024.
The manga follows Benio Tsunemori, a high school girl who is the next head of the Tsunemori yakuza clan. The Tsunemori clan and the rival Watanuki clan have never been able to settle their turf war, and they have been on a parallel track. Then, one day, in order to really pit the two gangs against each other, she decides to play a certain game with Nayuta, a childhood friend and incoming head of the Watanuki clan. It is a “honey trap game” in which the one who makes the other fall in love first and makes them say, “I’m so happy,” wins. The story depicts how the stiff and serious Benio is swept away by the sweet words and actions of the aloof Nayuta.
