Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara magazine has confirmed that Hisamakumako’s Ichijouma Mankitsu Gurashi! (一畳間まんきつ暮らし！) manga has been green-lit for a TV anime adaptation.
Manga author Hisamakumako also confirmed the news on their Twitter account and released an illustration to celebrate the news.

Hisamakumako started the manga in December 2018 in Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara magazine, and Houbunsha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in November 2019 and the third volume in September 2022. The manga’s fourth volume is scheduled for release on July 26th, 2025.
The manga story follows a high school girl in the manga cafe! Meiko is a countryside girl who enters a rich girls’ school. All expenses will be paid if she participates in activities… But who knew it would mean live-in work in a manga cafe?! Living in a small manga cafe booth turns out not to be so bad!
