The official website for the Tensei Shita Daiseijo wa, Seijo de Aru Koto wo Hitakakusu (A Tale of the Secret Saint/ 転生した大聖女は、聖女であることをひた隠す) TV anime has confirmed that the anime will premiere in April 2026. Staff for the show have also revealed the names of new cast members.
Makino Tomoe is directing the anime at Felix Film, and previously, it was confirmed that the anime will star:
- Wakayama Shion as Fia Ruud
- Tokudome Shinnosuke as Zavilia
- Umehara Yuuchirou as Saviz Nav
- Shimazaki Nobunaga as Cyril Sutherland
The newly confirmed cast members include:
- Hatanaka Tasuku as Desmond Ronan
- Hamano Daiki as Zachary Townsend
- Sugita Tomokazu as Quintin Agata

The anime is based on the Tensei Shita Daiseijo wa, Seijo de Aru Koto wo Hitakakusu light novel series by author Touya and illustrator chibi.
Touya started the ongoing story in January 2019 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website, and Earth Star Entertainment published the first novel with illustrations by chibi in June 2019. The 11th novel in the series was released in March 2025.
The novels were also adapted into a manga by Aobe Mahito in November 2019 in Comic Earth Star. Earth Star Entertainment published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in April 2020, and it will release the manga’s 13th volume on October 10th, 2025.
Seven Seas Entertainment publishes both the novel series and manga adaptation in English under the name A Tale of the Secret Saint. It will release the ninth novel on December 9th, 2025 and the 10th manga volume on November 25th, 2025. It describes the novel story below:
“Born into a long line of knights, Fia is determined to become a knight herself, just like all her siblings. But a brush with death awakens memories of her past life as a Saint–a woman who wields rare, powerful healing and protection magic–along with the ability to use that magic herself! The downside is that Fia also remembers her past life’s untimely death, and the danger she will be in if anyone finds out what she really is.
