Kadokawa has confirmed that the Namidako-sama no Iu Toori manga series by Yamamoto Lunlun will end with the release of its third tankoubon volume on March 14th, 2025.
Yamamoto (Uchuu no Swan) started the manga in April 2021 in Kadokawa’s Harta magazine, and Kadokawa published the manga’s first volume in January 2023 and the second volume in November 2023.
The manga is set in the early Showa era. A young girl’s drowned body is discovered somewhere in Tokyo, and Police Officer Sawatari is in charge of the investigation. He sets his sights on Inukai Ruiko, the leader of a new religious movement… Is the smiling girl with her long, flowing black hair a saint or a murderer?
