Shogakukan’s Petit Comic magazine published the final chapter of the nest (ネスト ) manga by Kazui Kazumi in its April 2026 issue, which was released on March 6th, 2026.
Kazui (Zesshoku Kareshi Kouryaku Seyo, Watashi ga Koi Nado Shinakutemo) started the manga in May 2024 in Shogakukan’s Petit Comic magazine, and Shogakukan published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in November 2024. The manga’s fourth volume was released on February 10th, 2026.
The manga follows Nanami, an office lady on the verge of marriage, who takes refuge in her childhood friend. Nanami is proposed to by her boyfriend; however, feeling that her relationship with him has reached an impasse, Nanami is unable to come up with an answer and runs away.
As she wanders around with no place to return to, she meets her childhood friend, painter Hiro. He has a mysterious and gentle aura, and she ends up living with him for a while.
