Kodansha’s Monthly Dessert magazine has confirmed that Nogiri Youko’s Bokura no Suki wa Warikirenai (僕らの好きはわりきれない /Our love is not that simple) manga will end in two chapters, making the 27th chapter the manga’s finale. The latest chapter, number 25, was released in the magazine’s August 2025 issue on June 24th, 2025.
Manga author Nogiri (Amakunai Karera no Nichijo wa, Watashi no Oukami-kun) started the manga in November 2022 in Kodansha’s Monthly Dessert magazine. Kodansha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in April 2023 and its sixth volume on June 13th, 2025.
The story follows Yui, a high school sophomore, who returns to her hometown for the first time in eight years due to the reunion of her divorced parents. Reunited with her popular older brother, Hayato, and her handsome grown-up childhood friend, Ritsu, a fascinating new life is unavoidable! …Until she realises she may be in love with her brother. “Date me?
